Biography & Filmography

“A goal without a plan is just a wish.” ~ Larry Elder

Perdomo Productions was founded in 2014 and operates from the Dominican Republic. It engages in the production and coproduction of international films, both in English and foreign languages.

Founder, Juan Perdomo, was born in the film world as his father owned two movie theaters in the city of Moca, Dominican Republic. If you’ve seen the film Cinema Paradiso, Juan could have easily been the child who was in the projection room and all around the theater.

When Juan’s family relocated to Santiago, a bigger city in the same country, his father opened a complex of new movie theaters where Juan started by managing the candy bar and eventually took on advertising and marketing of the films.

When he graduated from Business Administration, Juan worked for the Royal Bank of Canada and Bank of Boston in the Dominican Republic, while still working in the theaters at night.

He later founded a successful real estate company that soon became CENTURY 21 Perdomo on the North Coast of the Dominican Republic.

However, his dream was always to go back to film, not as an exhibitor, but as a producer. He took producing programs at UCLA and USC. Juan now shares his time between producing films and his real estate company. He is also starting in the production of broadway and off broadway shows.
